Biography
Senator for New South Wales, Australian Labor Party
Mark Arbib was elected Senator for New South Wales at the 2007 Federal Election and commenced his term on 1 July 2008.
Mark was appointed Assistant Treasurer, Minister for Small Business and Minister for Sport in December 2011.
Mark previously served as Minister for Indigenous Employment and Economic Development, Minister for Social Housing and Homelessness,
Minister for Employment Participation and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Government Service Delivery.
Mark has a Masters of Arts in Political Science and Economic History from the University of NSW.
He is 40 years old, married with two daughters and lives in Sydney.
