Establishment of Insolvency Law Advisory Group

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer, the Hon Chris Pearce MP, today announced the establishment of the Insolvency Law Advisory Group. The Group has been established to provide technical advice on the accuracy and appropriateness of draft legislation implementing the package of reforms announced on 12 October 2005.

'The establishment of the Insolvency Law Advisory Group provides another example of the Australian Government's commitment to effective consultation' Mr Pearce said.

The Group brings together a range of Australia's leading experts in the field of corporate insolvency. It comprises:
