The Government is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Priestley to the Future Fund Board of Guardians for a period of five years from 7 November 2017.
Mr Priestley is currently the Chair of J.P. Morgan Australia and New Zealand and a Non-Executive Director of ASX Limited. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan Australia and New Zealand for 15 years.
He has over 30 years' experience in the financial services industry and has expertise across a range of financial services businesses including investment banking, financial markets, commercial banking, investor services, treasury services and asset management.
Mr Priestley brings considerable financial acumen and business expertise to complement the board's existing skills and fills the vacancy left by Mr Steven Harker.
