This week I will join international counterparts for the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meetings in Durban, South Africa.
There could not be a more important time for G20 nations to work together and for Australia to be part of that collective effort.

New Meadowbrook Health Centre providing more care, closer to home
The Meadowbrook Health Centre promised during the 2019 federal election and fully funded by the Albanese Labor Government is now open to patients.
It will provide better healthcare, quicker and closer to home for thousands of people.
The Albanese Government has officially handed over the $33.4 million centre to be operated by Queensland Health.
RBA Statement on the Conduct of Monetary Policy and Statement of Expectations
Today I am releasing an updated Statement on the Conduct of Monetary Policy (SCMP) and the first Statement of Expectations for the RBA’s Governance Board.
The RBA Monetary Policy Board formally agreed the new SCMP at its meeting on 7–8 July.
These new Statements are next steps to strengthen the independence and transparency of the RBA.
