The Government is issuing a final call for individuals, businesses and community groups to provide their views regarding priorities for the 2016-17 Budget.
"I remind interested parties to lodge submissions as soon as possible, and no later than Friday 5 February 2016," the Assistant Minister to the Treasurer, the Hon Alex Hawke MP, said.
"As I outlined on 18 December 2015, the 2016-17 Budget will continue the Government's commitment to restrain expenditure responsibly, while supporting economic growth to lift revenues."
The Government places considerable importance on receiving community views in developing its budget strategy and policies. It is important that views be provided by the deadline to ensure they feed into the budget process at an early stage.
As a reminder, lengthier submissions should ideally include an executive summary of no more than two pages, and be accompanied by an electronic version.
