Good evening, and thank you for that kind introduction. I would especially like to thank the Consul-General, Phil Scanlan, for his invitation to speak to you tonight.

Thanks very much to Jo-Anne for that introduction. I'm delighted to be here at the FPA's 2009 national conference.

I guess, as you say Joan, I'm officially here as Minister for Financial Services and my responsibility for financial literacy.
