The Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer, Senator Ian Campbell (Liberal WA), said today Skywest Airlines Pty Ltd would be given $900,000 assistance by the Federal Government.
"The funding entitlement is similar to what was available to other regional airlines throughout Australia in the wake of the Ansett collapse," Senator Campbell said.
"The Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister recognise the vital role played by Skywest in servicing regional Western Australia and are pleased to support it with federal funds."
