The Minister for Financial Services & Regulation, Joe Hockey, today announced the issue of the first tranche of draft regulations under the Financial Services Reform Bill 2001.
The draft regulations deal with matters relating to financial markets, clearing and settlement facilities, compensation arrangements (including the National Guarantee Fund) and transfer of title to shares. Additionally amendments are made to the Corporations (Fees) Regulations and the ASIC Regulations.
