The Minister for Small Business and Assistant Treasurer, the Hon Kelly O’Dwyer MP, today announced the reappointment of Mr Greg Tanzer as a full-time member of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
“Mr Tanzer has been a member of ASIC since 2012, and his position as Commissioner has been extended to 30 November 2016,” Minister O’Dwyer said.
“I am also pleased to announce David Jones has been reappointed as a part-time member of the Australian Takeovers Panel, to 30 September 2016.
“This extension aligns with the expiry of Mr Jones’ term on the New Zealand Takeovers Panel.
“The cross-appointment arrangements between the Australia and New Zealand Takeovers Panels make a significant contribution to the commitments of our countries to greater cooperation and integration in business law.”
