The Government has appointed Ms Jennifer Cunich as a part-time Independent Director of the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) for a four-year period commencing from 31 December 2019.
AHURI is a national independent research network that funds, conducts and disseminates high quality research on housing, homelessness, cities and related urban outcomes.
Ms Cunich has over 30 years’ experience in the business and property sectors, having held senior positions at both the Australian Institute of Architects and the Property Council of Australia. She will replace Dr Jeffrey Harmer AO.
Dr Harmer has served the maximum term possible on the AHURI board, and I would like to thank him for his leadership and contribution to the work of AHURI over the past eight years.
