The Treasurer announced today the re-appointment of The Hon. Chris Miles as a Member of the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) for a further five-year term.
Mr Miles joined the FIRB in June 1999, and has made valuable contributions to the Board and the administration of policy since this time. He has considerable experience across a number of sectors, including as Member for Braddon in the House of Representatives, Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister and as Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning with Pacific Hills Education Limited. He is currently a Managing Director of Gaunts Holdings Australia Pty Ltd.
The other members of the FIRB are Mr John Phillips, AM, Chairman; Ms Lynn Wood; and Mr Chris Legg, Executive Member.
