It is with regret that I will not be able to attend the G20 Finance Ministers' meeting in Mexico City this weekend.
Australia's G20 Finance Deputy, Mr Mike Callaghan PSM, will represent me at the meeting.
This morning I contacted the meeting's host, the Mexican Finance Minister, Mr Jose Antonio Meade, to advise him of this and my disappointment in not attending.
I have been having discussions with my G20 colleagues on the priorities for the year and will continue to do so in the period ahead.
I look forward to meeting again with my G20 colleagues at the IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings in April.
