Jim Chalmers 2022
The Hon Dr Jim Chalmers MP
Treasurer
Interview with Peter Stefanovic, First Edition, Sky News
PETER STEFANOVIC:

JIM CHALMERS:
Australia's world-beating jobs growth
Employment growth in the first six months of the Albanese Government is the strongest for a new Australian Government on record.
New analysis of ABS data shows 234,000 more Australians gained work between May and November last year, with employment growth faster than that of any of the G7 major economies.
Interview with Brooke Boney and Alex Cullen, Today Show, Channel 9

Acting Prime Minister and Treasurer Jim Chalmers joins us now in Byron Bay. Treasurer, good morning to you. Aussies spent big over Christmas, but it means interest rates are likely to go up again. Will you put pressure on the RBA to slow this down?
JIM CHALMERS:
