The Albanese Labor Government’s Help to Buy scheme has taken another step forward as Queensland becomes the first state to pass its legislation to deliver the shared equity scheme.

Passage of reforms to improve small business payment times
The Albanese Labor Government’s legislation to improve payment times for small businesses has passed the House of Representatives.
The legislation overhauls the Payment Times Reporting Act 2020 (the Act) and will provide a shot in the arm for small businesses with faster payment times to improve cash flow, alleviating administrative burdens and reducing financing costs.

Today the Government has introduced legislation to overhaul the Payment Times Reporting Act 2020 (the Act), which will target payment times, terms and practices of big corporations to their small business suppliers.
Delivering more homes for Australians who need them in Sydney
The Albanese Labor Government is delivering more homes for New South Wales residents who need them with 51 new units nearing completion in Riverwood.
This project has been supported by the Albanese Labor Government’s Housing Australia with more than $20 million in funding.
The homes will be managed by St George Community Housing.
