Albanese Government launches Scams Awareness Week
The Albanese Government is urging Australians to take protective actions, like not clicking links in text messages, verifying phone numbers, and keeping across the latest advice from the National Anti‑Scam Centre by visiting scamwatch.gov.au.
The Government urges all Australians to be vigilant about scams this Scams Awareness Week.

Albanese Government response to the independent review of continuous disclosure regime amendments
Today, the Government has published its response to Dr Kevin Lewis’ independent review of the 2021 Amendments to Australia’s continuous disclosure laws.
The Government has accepted the primary recommendations of Dr. Lewis’ review.
Albanese Government to reset Consumer Data Right
The Albanese Government will reset the Consumer Data Right (CDR) to deliver better consumer outcomes.
The CDR is Australia’s consumer data-sharing system. It is designed to help consumers safely share and control their data to make more informed financial decisions.
