Today, the Albanese government opened consultation to consider options addressing the use of genetic testing by life insurers.

The Albanese government’s commitment to crack down on scams is today backed by a new National Anti-Scam Centre report that shows scam losses are down by 16% in its’ first 4 months of operation.

Today, the Government is releasing the first Quarterly Report of the new National Anti-Scam Centre (NASC). 

The new Scam Safe Accord announced by the Australian Banking Association (ABA) and the Customer Owned Banking Association (COBA) today is another important step in Australia’s united battle against the scammer scourge.

The Albanese Government has introduced new fraud controls to protect Australians from online identity theft and tax fraud.

The new controls will make it harder for criminals to commit identity fraud and safer for taxpayers when interacting with government online.
